Figure Out if TMS is Right for You

Duration: 30-45 Minutes

At your first official appointment with Dr. Georgine Nanos, MD, MPH, you will be welcomed into a warm space where you can embark on your TMS journey with a foundation of support and clinical excellence. During this appointment, you will be asked to provide some information on your medical history and current symptoms. If TMS treatment is recommended, you will then be prescribed a personalized TMS treatment plan.

Motor Threshold Appointment

Duration: 30-60 Minutes

Once approved for TMS treatment, your patient advocate will reach out to schedule your first TMS therapy appointment, or what we call a “Initial Motor Threshold.” At this first appointment, we identify the unique coil positioning for your brain (we call this process mapping) and correct magnet strength/dose (motor threshold) to ensure the best possible treatment outcomes.

First TMS Treatments

Duration: 10-15 Minutes

During your first session, your certified TMS technician will walk you through what to expect at your daily 10-15 minute treatment sessions. During treatments, you will have the option of relaxing, watching TV, or listening to your favorite music or podcast while the TMS device delivers positive magnetic stimulation to your brain non-invasively. After your treatment session, you can drive yourself home and return to your daily routine without delay.
